Tamerat Siltan is a visual artist and graphics designer based in Addis Ababa. He was born in Addis Ababa and graduated from Addis Ababa University, School of Fine Arts and Design in 2006. He participated in more than 18 group exhibitions. On February 2020, Tamerat organized Addis International Art Symposium, which is the first of its kind in Ethiopia.
His 12 solo exhibitions were held in Addis Ababa, Germany and Serbia. Other than painting, Tamerat owns 24 different logo designs as a graphic designer.
He was also board member on “Artists for Charity” from
2015 -2017 and painted different pediatrics in seven hospitals as part of one of his community service projects.
Tamerat has participated on the 16th Art symposium in June 2018 at Yelabuga Art & Architecture Museum in the Russian Federation and participated in 2019, Gallery 360, Florence Italy.
